    • 🍗 500g chicken breast
    • 🧅 1 stalk green onion
    • 🍘 2 sticks rice cake
    • Cooking oil as needed
  • Chicken Marinade

    • 🧂 A pinch of salt
    • A pinch of black pepper
    • 1 tbsp cooking wine
  • Soy Sauce Glaze

    • 🧂 4 tbsp soy sauce
    • 💧 3 tbsp water
    • 1.5 tbsp oligosaccharide
    • 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
    • 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
    • A pinch of ginger powder
    • 1 tbsp ginger sauce
    • 1 tbsp cooking wine

Slice the chicken breast lengthwise and then into quarters. Marinate with salt, pepper, and cooking wine.

Cut the green onion and rice cake into 2.5–3 cm pieces.

Skewer the marinated chicken, green onion, and rice cake alternately onto skewers.

Prepare the soy sauce glaze by mixing soy sauce, water, oligosaccharide, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger powder, ginger sauce, and cooking wine.

Heat a pan with cooking oil and cook the skewers until golden brown on both sides.

Once the skewers are 60% cooked, brush or pour the soy sauce glaze over them.

Simmer the skewers in the glaze until fully cooked, spooning the sauce over them as they cook.
