Gochujang Stir-fried Anchovies

    • 🐟 4 cups dried anchovies
  • Seasoning

    • 3 tbsp gochujang
    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 3 tbsp corn syrup
    • 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic

Dry roast the anchovies in a pan without oil until crispy. Remove and set aside.

Mix all the seasoning ingredients (gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, corn syrup, minced garlic) in a bowl.

Add the mixed seasoning to the pan and simmer on low heat until it starts bubbling.

Add the roasted anchovies to the bubbling sauce and coat them evenly. Cook briefly.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve. Optionally, add 1 tbsp mayonnaise for a softer texture.
