    • 1 pork cutlet
    • 🍚 1 bowl of cooked rice
    • 🧅 1/2 onion
    • 🥚 1 egg
    • 1 piece of kombu
  • Sauce

    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 💧 200ml water

Prepare the ingredients: pork cutlet, rice, onion, egg, kombu, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and water.

Slice the onion and green onion for garnish.

Lightly beat the egg, leaving it slightly unmixed.

Boil water with kombu starting from cold water.

Remove the kombu once the water boils and add soy sauce, mirin, and sugar.

Add the sliced onion to the sauce and cook until slightly softened.

Add the pork cutlet to the sauce. If using frozen cutlet, fry it beforehand.

Pour the beaten egg over the pork and onion mixture.

Turn off the heat when the egg is about 70% cooked.

Place the mixture gently over a bowl of rice and garnish with green onion.
