    • 200g pork belly block
  • Oil

    • 1 tsp salad oil
  • Seasoning

    • đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • Pinch of pepper

Pierce the surface of the pork belly block with a fork in several places.

Place the pork belly and seasoning ingredients into a storage bag. Massage the meat and seal the bag while removing air. Refrigerate for about 3 hours.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the marinated pork belly and sear each side until browned. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 8–10 minutes until fully cooked.

Add the remaining marinade from the bag to the pan and cook over medium heat until the liquid evaporates.
