INGREDIENTS

  • Rice

    • 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
  • Seafood

    • 2 pieces tarako (50g)
  • Vegetables

    • 🥦 4 asparagus spears (80g)
  • Dairy

    • 🧈 30g salted butter
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 🧂 2/3 tsp salt
  • Optional Garnish

    • Chopped nori to taste

Cut the tarako lengthwise and remove the contents. Reserve a small portion for garnish.

Trim the asparagus ends, peel the lower half with a peeler, and slice diagonally into 1cm pieces.

Add the soaked rice, seasonings (soy sauce and salt), and water to the rice cooker up to the 2-cup mark. Mix well and flatten the rice. Place tarako and butter on top, then start cooking.

Once cooked, mix the rice thoroughly, add asparagus, and stir. Cover and let it steam for 5 minutes to cook the asparagus.

Serve in bowls, top with reserved tarako and chopped nori.
