INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 60g dried shirasu
- 20g frozen shirasu
Vegetables
- 150g spring cabbage, chopped
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic, minced
Pasta
- 160g spaghetti
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sliced chili
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 50ml pasta cooking water
STEPS
Freeze the shirasu in a clean container for freshness.
Chop the spring cabbage into bite-sized pieces and mince the garlic.
Boil water in a pot, add salt, and cook spaghetti 1 minute less than the package instructions. Reserve 50ml of pasta water and drain the spaghetti.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add spring cabbage, garlic, and chili, and stir-fry until the cabbage softens. Add frozen shirasu and stir briefly.
Add the spaghetti and seasonings (sake, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and pasta water) to the pan. Stir-fry until well combined.
