  • Pasta

    • 🍝 200g spaghetti
  • Canned Fish

    • 1 can (190g) saba canned in miso
  • Vegetables

    • đź§… 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
    • 5 shiso leaves, julienned
  • Seasoning

    • 1.5 tbsp concentrated mentuyu
    • đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Oil

    • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Liquid

    • 50cc boiling water

Thinly slice the onion. Julienne the shiso leaves, reserving some for garnish.

Separate the canned saba into fish and sauce. Roughly flake the fish.

Boil water in a pot, add salt, and cook spaghetti slightly shorter than the package instructions. Reserve 50cc of the boiling water.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion and saba until softened. Add the reserved boiling water, canned sauce, mentuyu, salt, pepper, and spaghetti. Stir-fry until well combined.

Add the shiso leaves and stir briefly. Plate the pasta and garnish with reserved shiso leaves.
