INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 300g pork slices
Vegetables
- 1/4 head Chinese cabbage
- 80g king oyster mushrooms
Seasoning
- Flour as needed
- 500ml water
- 1/2 tbsp chicken stock powder
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 2/3 tsp salt
- Pepper as needed
- 🧈 20g salted butter
- Shichimi togarashi as needed
STEPS
Cut the Chinese cabbage into bite-sized pieces.
Slice the king oyster mushrooms thinly lengthwise.
Coat the pork slices with flour and shape them into bite-sized balls by pressing firmly.
In a pot, combine water, chicken stock powder, sake, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat until boiling.
Add the mushrooms and cabbage to the pot, placing the pork balls on top. Cover and simmer for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Add butter to the pot and stir until melted. Optionally, sprinkle shichimi togarashi for extra spice.
