INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🐟 200g horse mackerel fillets
- 🧅 100g onion, sliced
- 60g green pepper, sliced
- 🥕 50g carrot, julienned
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning for Fish
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Nanban Marinade
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🍶 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 🥢 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of sliced chili
- 💧 100ml water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
STEPS
Season the horse mackerel fillets with salt and pepper, then coat them lightly with flour.
Heat salad oil in a pan and grill the fish fillets until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté the onion, green pepper, and carrot until slightly softened.
Prepare the Nanban marinade by mixing sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, chili, water, and sesame oil in a bowl.
Combine the grilled fish and sautéed vegetables in a dish, then pour the Nanban marinade over them. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb flavors.
