INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 40g kiriboshi daikon
- 🥕 1/3 carrot, julienned
Protein
- 3 chikuwa, sliced
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 400cc water
- 1 tsp dashi powder
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
STEPS
Rinse kiriboshi daikon in water and soak for 15 minutes until softened. Squeeze out excess water and chop into bite-sized pieces.
Slice chikuwa into thin diagonal pieces and julienne the carrot.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan and stir-fry all the prepared ingredients.
Add water, dashi powder, sake, and mirin to the pan. Bring to a boil, then add soy sauce. Simmer until the liquid is almost fully absorbed.
