- 🍗 30 chicken wings
- 1 handful shishito peppers
- A small piece of ginger
Seasoning
- 100ml soy sauce
- đź’§ 200ml water
- 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- Corn syrup to taste
- A pinch of black pepper
- Cooking oil as needed
STEPS
Clean the chicken wings and soak them in milk for 1 hour, then blanch them briefly in boiling water.
Discard the water and rinse the chicken wings under cold water.
Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken wings until golden brown on both sides.
Add water, soy sauce, sugar, corn syrup, teriyaki sauce, black pepper, and ginger to the pan with the chicken wings.
Simmer the chicken wings for 10 minutes until the sauce is absorbed.
Add the cleaned shishito peppers to the pan when the dish is almost done.
Spoon the remaining sauce over the chicken wings and peppers while cooking to enhance flavor.
Cook until the peppers are slightly softened but still bright in color.
