  • Leek Salt Sauce

    • 1/2 leek, thinly sliced
    • 2 crab sticks
    • 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
    • đź§‚ 1/4 tsp salt
    • Pinch of pepper
    • đź’§ 200 ml water
    • 2 tsp salad oil
  • Bean Sprout Meatballs

    • 100 g bean sprouts
    • 200 g ground pork
    • 2 tsp sake
    • đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
    • Pinch of pepper
    • 1 tbsp potato starch
  • Thickening Mixture

    • 1 tbsp potato starch
    • đź’§ 1 tbsp water

STEPS

Thinly slice the leek.

In a bowl, mix bean sprouts with potato starch until coated. In another bowl, combine remaining meatball ingredients and mix until sticky.

Add bean sprouts to the meat mixture, mix well, and shape into 10 bite-sized balls.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the meatballs, cook until browned, then flip and cover. Steam on low heat for 3 minutes.

Add water, chicken stock powder, salt, and pepper to the pan, bring to a boil, then add leek and shredded crab sticks. Simmer briefly.

Add the thickening mixture (potato starch and water) to the pan, bring to a boil, and stir until the sauce thickens.
