    • 4 tbsp ponzu sauce

Slice the onion into 1cm widths. Trim the asparagus, peel the lower third, and slice diagonally into 1cm pieces. Mince the garlic.

Cut the bacon into 1cm widths.

Boil water in a pot, add salt (1 tsp, not included in ingredients), and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain well.

Heat olive oil and garlic in a frying pan over low heat until fragrant. Add bacon, onion, and asparagus, and sauté until softened.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and stir until coated with oil. Mix in the ponzu sauce and toss quickly.
