INGREDIENTES
Vegetables
- 🥒 2 cucumbers
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- 🧂 A pinch of coarse salt
Pickling Sauce
- 💧 3 cups water
- 🍶 1.5 cups vinegar
- 🍬 1.5 cups sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp pickling spice
- A pinch of bay leaves
PASSOS
Rub cucumbers with coarse salt, rinse thoroughly, and remove excess water.
Slice cucumbers as desired, removing the seeds if cutting lengthwise.
Slice onion, red bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper.
Place the sliced vegetables into sterilized glass jars.
Combine pickling sauce ingredients in a pan and dissolve the sugar before bringing to a boil.
Pour the boiling pickling sauce into the jars over the vegetables.
Seal the jars, invert them, and let them cool completely. Once cooled, store in the refrigerator.
