    • 300g tofu
    • 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
    • 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, sliced
    • 2 green chili peppers, sliced
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
    • A pinch of sesame seeds
  • Seasonings

    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp red pepper powder
    • 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
    • 1 tbsp cooking wine
    • 1 tbsp corn syrup
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 pinch black pepper
    • 1 cup water

Slice the onion thinly, and cut the green onion and chili peppers diagonally.

Mix all the seasoning ingredients together in a bowl.

Cut the tofu into thick slices and pat dry to remove excess moisture.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the tofu until golden brown on one side.

Flip the tofu and fry the other side until golden brown.

In another pan, layer the onion and fried tofu alternately.

Pour the prepared seasoning mixture and water over the tofu and onion.

Simmer on medium heat until the sauce reduces and thickens.

Add the green onion and chili peppers, and cook briefly until softened.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish and serve.
