    • 🧅 1/2 onion
    • 🧅 1 handful green onions

    • 🥕 1/3 carrot
    • 2 green chili peppers
    • 50g glass noodles
  • Braising Sauce

    • 2/3 cup soy sauce
    • 3 tbsp sugar
    • 1/2 cup cooking wine
    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 🧅 2 tbsp minced green onion
    • 1 tbsp corn syrup
    • 1/2 tbsp coffee powder
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1.5 cups water

Clean the chicken thoroughly and optionally remove the skin or excess fat. Cut into pieces.

Cut the potato and carrot into large chunks. Soak the glass noodles in water for 10 minutes.

Prepare the braising sauce by mixing soy sauce, sugar, cooking wine, minced garlic, minced green onion, corn syrup, coffee powder, sesame oil, and water.

Add the chicken, potato, and carrot to the sauce in a pot. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the onion and green onion, and continue cooking until the vegetables are tender.

Add the soaked glass noodles and cook until they absorb the sauce and are fully cooked.
