    • 🥔 1 medium potato
    • 🧅 1/2 onion
    • 🥕 1/2 carrot
  • Seasonings

    • 5 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp corn syrup
    • 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
    • 🧅 1/2 grated onion
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • 🧅 1 green onion, finely chopped
    • 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
    • A pinch of black pepper
    • 2 tbsp cooking wine

Cut the vegetables: chop the potato, carrot, and onion into bite-sized pieces. Finely chop the green onion for the seasoning.

Cut the beef into large chunks. Chuck eye roll shrinks during cooking, so cut generously.

Mix all seasoning ingredients in a bowl, including grated onion and half a cup of water.

Heat a pot with cooking oil and sauté the beef, potato, and carrot until the beef loses its redness and the potato edges turn translucent.

Add the prepared seasoning sauce to the pot and stir well.

Cover the pot and simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the chopped onion and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Add 2 tbsp of cooking wine to remove any residual odor and simmer briefly.
