Bread
- 🍞 3 slices of bread
Protein
- 🥓 3 slices of sandwich ham
- 🧀 3 slices of cheese
Vegetables
- 🥒 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
Condiments
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar
- 🍓 2 tbsp strawberry jam
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard sauce
- 🧈 1 tbsp butter
PASSOS
Prepare the cucumber by julienning it and mixing with vinegar and sugar for a sweet and tangy flavor. Pat dry the bell pepper slices with a kitchen towel.
Spread strawberry jam, mayonnaise, mustard sauce, and butter evenly on each slice of bread.
Trim the crusts off the bread and microwave briefly to soften. Use a rolling pin to flatten the bread slices.
Layer ham, cheese, bell pepper, and cucumber on the flattened bread. Roll tightly using a sushi mat and wrap with cling film to secure.
Refrigerate the wrapped sandwiches for 20 minutes to set. Slice into bite-sized pieces before serving.
