INGREDIENTES
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (300g)
 - 🧂 1 pinch salt
 - Potato starch as needed
 
Meat
- 🐖 200g thinly sliced pork belly
 
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
 
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
 - 2 tbsp mirin
 - 🍬 1 tsp sugar
 - 🧂 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
 
PASSOS
In a bowl, mix cooked rice and salt, crushing the grains with a rolling pin until sticky. Divide into 4 portions and shape each around a chopstick into a stick form.
Wrap each rice stick with 1/4 of the pork slices. Coat the sticks evenly with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the sticks seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Rotate to cook evenly, then cover and cook on low heat for another 2–3 minutes.
Remove excess oil with a paper towel, add the seasoning ingredients, and simmer over medium heat until the sticks are evenly coated.
