- 300g garlic scapes
Seasoning
- 🧂 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oligosaccharide syrup
- 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
PASSOS
Prepare the garlic scapes by trimming the flower buds and cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
Wash the garlic scapes thoroughly under running water.
Boil water and add 1 tbsp of salt.
Blanch the garlic scapes in the boiling water for 30 seconds to 1 minute until their color changes.
Drain the garlic scapes and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process.
Combine gochujang, chili powder, soy sauce, oligosaccharide syrup, minced garlic, sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a bowl to make the seasoning sauce.
Place the blanched garlic scapes in a mixing bowl and pour the seasoning sauce over them.
Mix the garlic scapes and sauce thoroughly by hand until well coated.
Transfer the seasoned garlic scapes to a serving plate.
