- 280g all-purpose flour
- 40g cocoa powder
- 8g baking powder
Wet Ingredients
- 🧈 200g butter
- 🧂 170g sugar
- 🥚 4 eggs
- 🥛 120g milk
Optional Ingredients
- 🍫 A small amount of chocolate chips
PASSOS
Bring butter, eggs, and milk to room temperature 1–2 hours before starting.
Cream the butter using a whisk or hand mixer. If difficult, use a warm water bath to soften the butter.
Gradually add sugar in 3–4 batches and mix until dissolved.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder, then fold into the wet mixture using a spatula.
Add milk and mix until combined. Optionally, fold in chocolate chips.
Line muffin tins with parchment paper and fill each cup to 80% capacity. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (356°F). Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
Cool the muffins on a wire rack before serving.
