    • 🧅 2/3 onion
    • 🥕 1/4 carrot
    • 1 stalk sliced green onion (A)
    • 1 stalk chopped green onion (B)
    • 1 green chili pepper
    • 1 red chili pepper
  • Condiments

    • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • A sprinkle of sesame seeds
  • Sauce

    • 1 tbsp gochujang
    • 3 tbsp red pepper flakes
    • 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
    • 5 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 cup water
    • A pinch of black pepper

Prepare the squid by peeling and cutting into bite-sized pieces. Slice green chili, red chili, onion, and green onion (A). Chop green onion (B), cabbage, and carrot.

Mix the sauce ingredients: gochujang, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, and black pepper. Set aside.

Heat a pan and add chopped green onion (B) with 3 tbsp vegetable oil to create green onion oil.

Add the squid and 1.5 tbsp sugar to the pan. Stir-fry briefly.

Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and mix well with the squid.

Add 1/2 cup water and simmer gently to blend the flavors.

Add onion, carrot, and cabbage. Stir-fry over medium heat until the vegetables soften.

Turn off the heat and add sliced green onion (A), red chili, and green chili. Let residual heat cook them slightly.

Finish with 1 tbsp sesame oil and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
