- 100g cake flour

- 🧈 75g room temperature butter
- 🧂 70g sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

- 🧂 Pinch of rolling sugar

Cream the softened butter until smooth. Add salt and sugar, mixing well. Then add the egg yolks and mix thoroughly. Add vanilla extract.
Sift the cake flour and baking powder, then fold them into the mixture using a cutting motion to form the dough. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls and roll them in sugar.
Place the dough balls on a baking tray, flatten slightly, and bake in a preheated oven at 170–180°C for 10–15 minutes. Optionally, press lightly with a spatula mid-baking for better cracks.
