INGREDIENTI

- 🍗 500g chicken thighs
- 🧅 1 stalk green onion
- A small amount of oil
- 1 grill rack
Chicken Marinade
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- A pinch of ginger powder
- 2 tbsp rice wine or soju
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
Teriyaki Sauce
- 🧂 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp rice wine
- 4 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 4 tbsp sugar
PASSI
Remove the skin from chicken thighs and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, ginger powder, rice wine, and sugar for 15 minutes.
Cut the green onion into 3 cm pieces.
Alternate chicken and green onion pieces on skewers.
Prepare teriyaki sauce by simmering soy sauce, rice wine, mirin, and sugar until reduced by half.
Lightly oil the grill rack and preheat. Place skewers on the grill over low heat.
Brush teriyaki sauce onto skewers while grilling, turning them for a glossy finish.
Use a torch for added smoky flavor if desired.
