  • Seasoning

    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
    • 1 tbsp cooking wine
    • 1 tbsp water
    • 1/2 tsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tbsp chopped green onion
    • 1 tbsp chopped chili
    • 🧅 1.5 tbsp chopped onion

Rinse the cockles under running water to clean their surface.

Boil water with a pinch of coarse salt until it reaches a rolling boil.

Add the cockles to the boiling water and stir in one direction while cooking.

Remove the cockles once about 2/3 of them have opened and drain them in a colander.

Prepare the seasoning sauce by mixing all the seasoning ingredients together.

Place the cockles in a serving dish, removing one half of their shells.

Top the cockles with the prepared seasoning sauce.
