BAHAN-BAHAN
Main Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu
- 🧅 1/2 green onion
Seasonings
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 💧 1 cup water
LANGKAH
Cut the firm tofu into thick slices.
Spread 1 tbsp of vegetable oil evenly in a pan or pot and arrange the tofu slices in an overlapping pattern.
Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, oyster sauce, corn syrup, sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and chopped green onion.
Pour the sauce evenly over the tofu, then add 1 cup of water to the sauce bowl and pour it into the pan.
Cook on high heat, occasionally spooning the sauce over the tofu.
Simmer until most of the sauce has evaporated, leaving a rich, flavorful coating on the tofu.
