LANGKAH
Slice 3 cucumbers into bite-sized pieces and soak them in 1/2 tbsp salt for 30 minutes. Rinse with water and drain thoroughly.
Thinly slice 1/2 onion and mix it with the cucumbers. Prepare the seasoning: 3 tbsp red pepper flakes, 2 tbsp fermented shrimp, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1.5 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tbsp fish sauce, and 1 tbsp sesame seeds.
Mix the cucumbers and onions thoroughly with the prepared seasoning until evenly coated.
Cut 1 handful of chives to match the cucumber length and gently mix them into the dish to avoid bruising.
Refrigerate the dish and serve chilled for a refreshing side dish.
