    • ๐Ÿง‚ 2 tsp soy sauce
    • 1.5 tbsp potato starch
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • ๐Ÿง‚ 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
    • ๐Ÿ’ง 500ml water
  • Thickening Agent

    • 1 tsp potato starch
    • ๐Ÿ’ง 2 tsp water

Slice the carrot into thin pieces and the shiitake mushrooms into thin slices. Finely chop the green onion.

In a bowl, mix all the fish paste dumpling ingredients (fish paste, tofu, green onion, soy sauce, and potato starch) until smooth.

In a pot, bring the seasoning ingredients (mirin, sake, soy sauce, and water) to a boil. Scoop the fish paste mixture into small balls and drop them into the boiling liquid. Once boiling again, skim off any foam, cover, and simmer on low heat for 7โ€“8 minutes.

Add the carrot, shiitake mushrooms, and vermicelli noodles to the pot. Stir, cover, and cook on medium heat for 2โ€“3 minutes until the vegetables and noodles are tender.

Stir in the thickening agent (potato starch mixed with water) to thicken the soup. Drizzle sesame oil over the soup before serving.
