BAHAN-BAHAN
Main Ingredients
- 🍚 2 servings of cooked rice
- 🍗 300g chicken thigh meat
- 🧅 Sliced green onion
- A pinch of sesame seeds
Seasoning Ingredients
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 🍬 0.5 tbsp sugar
- 0.3 tbsp ginger juice
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped spring onion
LANGKAH
Make small cuts on the chicken thighs and season lightly with pepper.
Slice the green onions diagonally and set aside.
Mix soy sauce, water, mirin, corn syrup, sugar, ginger juice, and chopped spring onion in a bowl.
Heat a pan over medium heat, add oil, and cook the chicken skin-side down until crispy. Flip and cook both sides evenly.
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, add the seasoning mixture, and simmer until the sauce reduces to about 3 tbsp.
Serve the chicken teriyaki over cooked rice, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
