BAHAN-BAHAN
Main Ingredient
- 🥡 500g firm tofu
Seasoning Sauce
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 1/2 cup water
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧅 2 tbsp chopped green onion
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 🌰 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Pinch of black pepper
LANGKAH
Cut the tofu into thick rectangular pieces and remove excess moisture. Pan-fry until golden brown.
Prepare the braising sauce by mixing soy sauce, water, sugar, corn syrup, mirin, green onion, garlic, sesame seeds, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce over the fried tofu and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer while spooning the sauce over the tofu.
Once the sauce is almost fully reduced, turn off the heat and serve.
