BAHAN-BAHAN
Main Ingredients
- 🥩 250g beef belly
- 🧅 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 🧄 1 handful green onion
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 🧄 2 tbsp minced garlic
LANGKAH
Thinly slice the onion and green onion. Optionally, slice chili peppers for added spice.
Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, corn syrup, cooking wine, and minced garlic to prepare the sauce.
Cook the beef belly in a pan without oil until it releases its fat.
Remove excess oil from the pan, leaving about 1 tbsp of fat.
Add sliced onion and the prepared sauce to the pan and stir-fry until the onion becomes translucent.
Add green onion and optional chili peppers, then stir-fry lightly.
Optionally, use a torch to sear the beef for a smoky flavor.
Serve the stir-fried beef belly over rice and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
