    • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
    • 🍬 1.5 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp corn syrup
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 🌰 to taste sesame seeds
    • 5 tbsp cooking oil

ÉTAPES

Prepare the ingredients: thaw and measure 300g squid strips, soy sauce, sugar, corn syrup, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and cooking oil.

Cut the squid strips into thirds for easier cooking.

Separate the squid strips into individual strands.

Dry roast the squid strips in a pan over low heat until slightly curled and golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Add 5 tbsp cooking oil to the pan without turning on the heat.

Add 1.5 tbsp soy sauce to the pan.

Add 1.5 tbsp sugar to the pan.

Add 1 tbsp corn syrup to the pan.

Add 1 tbsp sesame oil to the pan.

Turn on the heat to low and stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce is well mixed.

Turn off the heat and add the roasted squid strips to the pan. Mix well to coat the squid evenly with the sauce.

Turn the heat back on to very low and stir continuously, using chopsticks to mix thoroughly.

Turn off the heat and sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish.

Serve the stir-fried squid strips warm or at room temperature.
