Cut the fish cake into bite-sized rectangular pieces and chop the green chili.

In a frying pan, mix soy sauce, water, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce is well combined.

Add the fish cake to the pan and stir to coat evenly with the sauce.

Add sesame oil and honey to the pan and mix well. Honey can be substituted with corn syrup if desired.
