- 🥔 8 potatoes, peeled and thickly sliced
- 🧅 1 onion, cut into wedges
- 1 stalk green onion, chopped
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Peel and thickly slice the potatoes. Cut the onion into wedges.
Soak the sliced potatoes in water to remove excess starch.
Add 1 cup of water to a pan or wok and place the potatoes and onions inside.
Mix red pepper flakes, sugar, mirin, soy sauce, and vegetable oil in the pan.
Simmer the mixture on medium heat for 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Add chopped green onion and sesame seeds, then mix well.
Let the dish cool slightly before transferring to a container for storage.
