- 🥔 6 small potatoes, peeled and cut
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 🧅 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 cup anchovy stock or water
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Peel and cut the potatoes into halves or thick slices. Trim the edges to prevent breaking during cooking.
Slice the green chilies and green onion diagonally.
Soak the potatoes in cold water to remove excess starch while preparing the seasoning.
Mix all seasoning ingredients except sesame oil and sesame seeds in a bowl.
Drain the potatoes and stir-fry them in a pan with oil until their surface becomes translucent.
Add 1 cup of water or anchovy stock to the pan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, add the seasoning mixture, and simmer until the potatoes are tender and the sauce thickens.
Add sliced green chilies and green onion, stir briefly, and turn off the heat.
Drizzle sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish before serving.
