- 🌱 1/2 green onion, thinly sliced
- 4 shishito peppers, sliced
Seasonings
- 3 tsp red pepper flakes
- 🍬 3 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp plum syrup
- 🧄 2/3 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2/3 tbsp sesame oil
- 🌾 1 tbsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Clean the squid by removing the innards and washing thoroughly.
Slice the squid into bite-sized pieces after scoring it lightly.
Blanch the squid in boiling water for 10 seconds and set aside.
Thinly slice the onion, green onion, and shishito peppers.
Prepare the sauce by mixing red pepper flakes, sugar, plum syrup, minced garlic, gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
Combine the blanched squid, sliced vegetables, and sauce in a bowl.
Heat a pan over high heat and stir-fry the mixture quickly.
Turn off the heat and sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish.
Serve the stir-fried squid over a bowl of rice.
