- 110g cake flour
- 2g baking powder
Wet Ingredients
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 8g rum
- 🧈 60g butter
- 🧂 90g sugar
- 🥛 70g plain yogurt
ÉTAPES
Mix softened butter and sugar using a whisk until the sugar dissolves. Gradually add eggs while creaming the mixture.
Sift the cake flour and baking powder, then add to the mixture. Stir until no dry flour is visible.
Add plain yogurt and rum to the batter, then mix until smooth and glossy.
Grease a Gugelhupf mold with butter and coat with flour. Fill the mold up to 80% with batter, then bake at 170°C for 30–40 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the cake from the mold immediately after baking and cool on a wire rack.
Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container or plastic wrap for 1–2 days for enhanced moistness.
