    • 🧈 1/2 block tofu
    • 🍖 100g ground pork
    • 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
    • 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, chopped
    • 1 green chili, chopped
    • 🧂 A pinch of pepper
    • 1 tbsp cooking oil
    • 💧 100ml water
  • Seasoning Sauce

    • 1 tbsp chili powder
    • 1 tbsp gochujang
    • 1 tbsp doenjang
    • 1 tbsp cooking wine
    • 🍬 1/2 to 1 tbsp sugar
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/3 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • Thickening Mixture

    • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
    • 💧 2 tbsp water

ÉTAPES

Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes. Chop onion, green onion, and green chili finely.

Mix chili powder, gochujang, doenjang, soy sauce, cooking wine, oyster sauce, sugar, and minced garlic to make the seasoning sauce.

Combine cornstarch and water to prepare the thickening mixture.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté green onion until fragrant.

Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.

Add ground pork and pepper, cooking until the pork is fully browned.

Pour in the prepared seasoning sauce and mix well.

Add 100ml water and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sauce.

Reduce heat to medium-low and add tofu cubes. Simmer gently, spooning sauce over the tofu.

Once the sauce thickens slightly, add the thickening mixture and stir. Add green chili and sesame oil, then turn off the heat.

Serve the Mapo Tofu in a bowl and enjoy.
