INGRÉDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥔 3 large potatoes
Seasoning
- 100ml soy sauce
- 🍬 50ml sugar
- 💧 300ml water
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp corn syrup
- 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Prepare 3 large potatoes. If using smaller potatoes, use 4.
Cut the potatoes into roughly 2cm cubes.
Mix soy sauce, sugar, water, and minced garlic to create the seasoning sauce. Boil the sauce in a large pot.
Add the potatoes to the boiling sauce and cook on high heat.
Skim off any foam that rises to the surface.
Reduce the heat to medium once the potatoes turn brown and are tender when pierced with a fork.
When the sauce reduces by half, add sesame oil and sesame seeds, stirring to coat the potatoes.
Turn off the heat, let the dish cool slightly, and store in a container for later use.
