- 🦐 150g peeled shrimp
- 🦑 1 squid
Noodles
- 2 packs udon noodles
Vegetables
- 150g bean sprouts
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1/2 stalk green onion, sliced
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 🧄 6 cloves garlic, sliced
Sauces and Seasonings
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp plum wine
- to taste corn syrup
- a dash of sesame oil
- a dash of sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Clean the squid and score it diagonally for better texture when cooked.
Slice the onion, green chili, red chili, and green onion. Thinly slice the garlic.
Wash the bean sprouts and set aside. If using fresh udon noodles, boil and rinse them in cold water.
Mix the sauce ingredients (oyster sauce, soy sauce, chili powder, plum wine, corn syrup, sesame oil, sesame seeds) in a bowl.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the sliced garlic until fragrant.
Add the vegetables (except bean sprouts) to the pan and stir-fry until slightly softened.
Add the bean sprouts and stir-fry briefly until slightly wilted.
Add the prepared udon noodles to the pan and mix well.
Pour the sauce over the noodles and stir-fry until the flavors are absorbed.
Finish with sesame oil, black pepper, and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
