- 🥩 2-3 strips pork belly
- 🍚 3 bowls cooked rice
- 🧅 1 onion
- 🧄 1/2 bunch green onion or chives
- 🥚 3 egg yolks
- 🌰 A pinch of sesame seeds
- 🧂 A pinch of black pepper
Sauce Ingredients
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
ÉTAPES
Cut pork belly into bite-sized pieces and season with black pepper.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Sauté onion quickly without oil and season with black pepper. Set aside.
Cook pork belly on low heat until golden brown on both sides for 2-3 minutes.
Add 2-3 tbsp of sauce to the pork and simmer on low heat.
Flip the pork occasionally and simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is absorbed and the pork turns golden brown.
Place cooked rice in a bowl and top with sautéed onion.
Arrange the cooked pork belly around the rice.
Top with egg yolk, chopped green onion or chives, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
