Peel the potatoes and slice them into thin half-moon shapes (0.2–0.3 cm thick). Beat the eggs and chop the green onion.

Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the potatoes until they turn translucent (about 2 minutes).

Add water to the pan and bring to a boil. Then add minced garlic, shrimp paste, and soy sauce.

Pour the beaten eggs into the soup and stir gently once or twice.
