- 1 stick garaetteok (Korean rice cake)
- 200g Vienna sausages
Sauce Ingredients
- 🍅 4 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp plum syrup
- 2 tbsp oligosaccharide
- 1 tbsp mirin
Other Ingredients
- Sufficient amount of cooking oil
- 🥜 2 tbsp crushed peanuts
ÉTAPES
Cut the garaetteok into bite-sized pieces.
Make cross-shaped cuts on the Vienna sausages.
In a bowl, mix ketchup, gochujang, minced garlic, plum syrup, oligosaccharide, and mirin to make the sauce.
Heat a pan with sufficient cooking oil and stir-fry the garaetteok until golden and crispy.
In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of cooking oil and stir-fry the Vienna sausages until the cuts open up.
Wipe the pan clean of excess oil, then add the prepared sauce and bring it to a simmer.
Add the stir-fried garaetteok and Vienna sausages to the pan, mixing well to coat everything evenly.
Finish by sprinkling crushed peanuts on top before serving.
