INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 🍖 600g pork ribs
Vegetables
- 🥔 1 medium potato
- 🥕 1 small carrot
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
- 🧄 6 cloves garlic
Seasonings
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp plum extract
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 0.3 tbsp ginger powder
- 0.3 tbsp ground pepper
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1.5 cups water
ÉTAPES
Soak pork ribs in water for 1 hour to remove blood and odor.
Cut potato and carrot into 2–3 cm cubes, round the edges, and chop onion into similar-sized pieces.
Finely chop green onion and garlic for seasoning. Rinse the soaked ribs and make small cuts for better marinade absorption.
Mix garlic, green onion, soy sauce, sugar, plum extract, corn syrup, cooking wine, ginger powder, pepper, and sesame oil in a bowl. Coat ribs with the marinade and let sit for 30 minutes.
Place marinated ribs, potato, and carrot in a pot. Add 1.5 cups of water. Cook uncovered on high heat for 5 minutes, then on medium heat for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Add onion and cook uncovered on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let the dish rest for 5 minutes. Serve on a clean plate and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
