- 1 handful dried pollock
- 5-6 pieces nurungji
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 🧂 1/4 tbsp salt
- 💧 3 cups water
- 🧅 A small amount of chopped green onion
ÉTAPES
Break 5-6 pieces of nurungji into smaller chunks for easier cooking.
Rinse the dried pollock under running water and soak it in water until softened. Squeeze out excess water and save the soaking water.
Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil in a pan and stir-fry the squeezed dried pollock quickly over high heat.
Add the reserved soaking water to the pan along with 1 tbsp fish sauce and 1/4 tbsp salt. Adjust salt to taste.
Bring the soup to a boil, skim off any foam, and add the nurungji chunks. Cook until the nurungji softens and the soup thickens slightly.
