Rice Cake
- 🍚 2 cups rice cake
Fish Cake
- 3 sheets fish cake
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 stalk green onion
Broth Ingredients
- 💧 5 cups water
- 🐟 10 dried anchovies
- 1 sheet kelp (6x6 cm)
- 🦐 1 handful dried shrimp
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp fine chili powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
ÉTAPES
Soak the rice cakes in cold water for at least 10 minutes.
Prepare the broth by boiling water with anchovies, kelp, and dried shrimp. Remove the kelp once the water boils and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the broth.
Slice the fish cake into strips and cut the green onion diagonally.
In a pot, combine 3 cups of the prepared broth with the seasoning ingredients. Bring to a boil.
Add the rice cakes and cook for 3–4 minutes until they soften.
Add the fish cake and green onion. Simmer briefly until the desired consistency is achieved.
