Main Ingredients
- 🥩 300g pork belly
- 🍚 2 servings cooked rice
- 🧅 1 stalk green onion
- 🧅 1/2 onion sliced
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 1 knob ginger julienned
Seasonings
- 2 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- A pinch of sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Wash the green onion, slice it lengthwise, and cut into 4cm pieces. Slice the onion into 1cm thickness, julienne the ginger, and cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the pork belly until partially cooked.
Add the green onion and onion to the pan and cook until golden brown.
Add ginger, soy sauce, sugar, mirin, and black pepper. Stir-fry and simmer lightly.
In a pot of lightly simmering water with 1 tbsp vinegar, crack the eggs and cook for 3 minutes to make poached eggs.
Serve the cooked rice in a bowl, top with the stir-fried pork belly mixture, place the poached egg on top, and sprinkle sesame seeds to finish.
