Eomuk (Fish Cake)
- 3 sheets fish cake
- Sheets of gimbap seaweed
- Wasabi powder (optional)
Eomuk Seasoning
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Rice Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
ÉTAPES
Cut the fish cake into pieces that match the size of quartered seaweed sheets.
In a frying pan, combine the seasoning ingredients and bring to a boil.
Add the fish cake to the pan and simmer until the sauce is absorbed.
Mix hot rice with sesame oil and sesame seeds.
Spread the seasoned rice evenly on quartered seaweed sheets, add fish cake, and roll tightly.
Optional: Spread a thin line of wasabi before adding fish cake for extra flavor.
