- 1 block tofu
- 🧅 1 onion
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- Chopped green onion
- 🧄 Minced garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cooking seasoning
ÉTAPES
Slice the tofu and remove excess moisture. Pan-fry the tofu slices until golden and crispy.
Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, green onion, garlic, sesame seeds, sesame oil, sugar, chili powder, and cooking seasoning.
Slice the onion thickly and layer it on the bottom of the pan to prevent the tofu from sticking.
Pour the prepared sauce over the tofu and add water around the edges. Simmer until the sauce is reduced.
Add the oil used for frying the tofu to create a glossy finish. Simmer until the sauce is fully absorbed.
Serve the braised tofu with rice, using the flavorful sauce to mix with the rice.
