- 🍗 1 whole chicken, cut for braising
- 🥔 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
- Water to cover ingredients
Seasoning
- 80ml soy sauce
- 150ml chili powder
- 🧄 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 🍬 5 tbsp sugar
ÉTAPES
Prepare all ingredients by washing and chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
Cut the onion, potato, and optional carrot into bite-sized pieces. Optionally, peel the edges of the potato for better texture.
Blanch the chicken briefly in boiling water with cooking wine or soju to remove impurities and odor.
Drain and rinse the chicken after blanching.
Combine the chicken, vegetables, seasoning, and enough water to cover the ingredients in a pot.
Cook over medium heat until the chicken and vegetables are tender, approximately 40–50 minutes.
